Our understanding of the term 'document' is very broad. We process invoices, forms, letters, emails, images and tables. Supported file types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT, XLS, XLSX, ODS, CSV, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, HEIF, HTML, XML, Markdown, MSG, EML, vCard, ZIP, TXT.

By default, we import via API and email. We also offer imports from data storage systems, apps and customised solutions. By default, we export via webhook, with further options for DMS, cloud, databases and customised solutions. Our interfaces are explained here: Documentation

For on-premise operation of Lector, you need a system running Ubuntu. Minimum requirements: 16 CPU cores, 64 GB RAM and 500 GB disk space. For optimal AI-based document processing, an Nvidia A100 80 GB or H100 80 GB GPU is required.

Our platform runs on the OVHcloud infrastructure in Europe, hosted in Germany. AI processing via Vertex and Azure takes place on European servers. Data only resides there during processing and is deleted immediately afterwards. Everything is GDPR-compliant. You can set the storage period for your documents yourself.
